In a world where traditional weddings often follow a predictable script, Bec and Javier decided to break the mold and create a celebration that truly reflected their unique personalities and love story. Their untraditional wedding was a small, understated affair with a distinct Texas flair, designed to be a big party where they could celebrate their union with their closest friends and family.
Javier and Bec envisioned a wedding that was anything but conventional. They knew from the start that they wanted their special day to be intimate, genuine, and an epic party. With Bec originally from Australia, they chose to do two smaller celebrations, one in San Antonio and one in Australia so all of their closest friends and family could have a chance to celebrate with them. This decision not only made the celebration more meaningful but also allowed them to focus on the personal touches that would make their day unforgettable.
Both professionals in the digital marketing industry, Javier and Bec knew the importance of capturing authentic moments. They chose a photographer who specialized in candid, unposed photography, the incredible Dani Quiroz Photography, resulting in a wedding gallery that looked like it was straight out of a lifestyle photoshoot. The photos captured the genuine emotions, laughter, and the little details that made their day special.
The couple incorporated San Antonio's rich culture into their wedding through a variety of details such as lotería cards for seating assignments, incredible Tex-Mex cuisine complete with pan dulce for dessert, and a Mariachi band for cocktail hour & dinner,
We can't write about Bec & Javier's wedding without touching on their impeccable style. Javier sported an all black ensemble complete with a bolo tie for a small salute to his Texas upbringing. Bec kept it simple but bold for the ceremony & dinner with a bow & veil combo, and a classic a-line dress with a leg slit. She opted for a more "dance friendly" outfit and changed into a 1920's inspired little white dress to party the night away (which we are still obsessed with).
Bec and Javier's wedding served as a reminder that the best weddings are the ones that truly reflect the couple’s personalities, values, and love for each other. They kept what felt natural and comfortable to them, and threw the rest out the window for a celebration that was truly authentic. Congratulations again Bec and Javier! We wish you the absolute best in the journey of your lives together.
